The new AirPods, along with the wireless charging case, give you a new wireless experience. Just take them out of the case and they are ready for use with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac.

AirPods are almost magical. They are configured with a simple touch, are activated automatically and always stay connected. They know when they are in your ears and stop when you take them off.

You can also say "Hey Siri" and ask him to adjust the volume, change songs, make a call or give you directions. You can use both AirPods or just one, and you can play or change songs or podcasts with just two taps.

Charge AirPods with the new wireless charging case quickly and easily. Just put the case on a Qi base and let it charge. The LED indicator on the front of the case will tell you that your AirPods are charging. If you don't have a charging base nearby, you can charge them with the Lightning connector.

AirPods give you 5 hours of play1 and 3 hours of talk on a single charge.2 And because they're designed to keep you on the go, their wireless charging case gives you multiple additional charges so you can use them for more than 24 hours.3 Do you need to load them quickly? Just by putting them 15 minutes in the case, you will have 3 hours of audio4 or 2 hours of conversation.5

Thanks to Apple's new H1 chip, AirPods use optical sensors and a motion accelerometer to detect if you're wearing them. It doesn't matter if you use both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically directs the audio and activates the microphone. And when you're on a call or talking to Siri, an additional accelerometer and microphones with beamforming technology take care of filtering out background noise and focusing on the sound of your voice.
